KEHINDE OLANA
Kehinde is the Managing Partner of the Firm and has a diverse experience that cuts across the Firm’s dispute resolution and corporate practice areas. Kehinde has participated in numerous cases involving international oil companies before the Nigerian courts.
Having worked with Nigeria’ foremost commercial law firm of Aluko & Oyebode, Kehinde represented several multinational and local companies; non-profit organisations and individuals in complex and high value transactions and litigation proceedings arising from various areas of law including oil and gas, maritime, employment, shareholder disputes, debt recovery, real estate, energy, banking, insurance etc. He regularly interfaces with key regulators and advises on regulatory and compliance issues.
CHIDEBE NWANKWO
Dr. Chidebe Maflhew Nwankwo is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria with twelve years of legal practice experience. He holds an LL. B from Igbinedion University in Okada, Nigeria; an LLM in International Economic and Trade Law from Brunel University in
London, UK; and has been a member of the Nigerian Bar since 2008. Furthermore, Dr Nwankwo also holds a PhD in international law from Brunel University.
He is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus. His teaching responsibilities include Nigerian Land Law, Public International Law, African Union Law and Law of the United Nations at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. In 2019 Dr Nwankwo was one of the recipients of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) grant for Early Career academics.
He has authored numerous articles in reputable journals and book chapters. His research interests include International Economic Law, African Union Law, International Environmental Law, and African Legal History.
SOLOMON EDOH
Solomon obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State in 2007 and was called to the bar after successfully passing the qualifying bar examination with a Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in 2008. Solomon started his professional career at Charles Musa & Co, where he had a short stint before joining the services of Tayo
Oyetibo LP (a foremost litigation firm in Nigeria) where he worked for almost a decade and gained invaluable practice experience in dispute resolution from his handling of several highly complex and big-ticket cases.
Upon leaving Tayo Oyetibo LP, Solomon was admitted as a Partner in Lexavier Partners, a commercial law firm in Lagos, where he worked for about 4 years before leaving to join the other partners in this Firm. Solomon is highly regarded amongst clients and his professional colleagues as a quick witted and adroit advocate and has gained extensive experience in handling and advising on matters and transactions relating to debt recovery and insolvency, labour and employment law, banking and finance, energy law (specifically gas and electricity transactions), corporate and commercial law, real estate, insurance, aviation and trade disputes amongst others.
Solomon is a Notary Public for Nigeria and is also registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as a Capital Market Solicitor.
Solomon belongs to several professional associations including the Nigeria Gas Association (NGA), the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), the Society of Construction Law of the United Kingdom (SCL), and the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIPN)
